“Is Your Refrigerator Running?” Device Monitoring System Dashboard

Overview
Ombitron Incorporated is a Seattle-based startup focused on "the internet of things," the idea that all devices could become individualized and interconnected into a single system. Ombitron Inc. were at the time developing a new hardware system for monitoring different types devices, all synced to a single web-based dashboard which would present the information from those devices in a clear manner. My team responded to a request to develop that dashboard for Ombitron.

Project Manager
  • Led a team of 3 others:
    • Michael Del Fante - Lead Developer and Programmer
    • Eric Oltean - Backend Developer, Programmer, and Client Liason
    • Micheal Seng - User Experience and Visual Designer
  • Created project timeline and assigned deliverables for each milestone
  • Provided User Experience input and conducted use-testing
